Fashion and luxury have always gone hand in hand. And now, so do beachfront runways and the island of Curaçao.
In its first ever International Swim Fashion Week, Curaçao’s luxurious Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort sets the stage for international designers, models and fashion industry insiders alike in what promises to be an industry-shaping event.
From February 19 through the 22nd, hundreds will witness the latest beach wear collections and accessories from Caribbean and international designers like AquaVita Swim (Curaçao) and Del Mar (Aruba), Julia Pereira (Brazil), Phax (Colombia), Island-State (Australia), Sirene de Soleil (USA), Mandalynn (USA), Rich Girl On Vacation Resort Wear (USA), and Pauleth Swimwear (USA).
Bobby Harris, President of Concept Media, the team behind ISFW, in conjunction with members-only online retailer Fashion Show VIP, says of the event, “This is a long term plan with the [Santa Barbara] hotel and the island of Curaçao to make it the best swim and resort wear fashion week in the industry.”
ISFW’s invitation only VIP kick-off party starts Thursday, February 19th, followed subsequent days by multiple fashion shows, a designer marketplace replete with pop-up shops and a wrap party at the Santa Barbara resort’s Shore restaurant. Not to mention, a plethora of beach barbecues, making ISFW the ideal destination for fashionistas and anyone in search of sun and plain, old fun.
Tickets are limited, but can be purchased for individual days. Visit the ISFW website for more details and information on this celebration of international fashion, design and creativity.
