Released in mid-November, One Love, One Life has been gaining traction with reggae fans. Hammond has been making the touring rounds this month, performing at Brooklyn’s Barclays Arena and the Hard Rock Cafe in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
VP Records President Chris Chin spoke on the success of Beres’ new album. “We hope to continue the momentum through Christmas and into 2013. We are happy and proud to see Beres at the top of the chart.”
Hammond also debuted on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (Dec. 11th), his first ever US talk show appearance. With the Roots crew in tow, he performed the title track “One Love, One Life” and known classics “What One Dance Can Do” and “Double Trouble.”
